Join Wenatchee Valley Astronomy Club members and Chelan-Douglas Land Trust at Jacobson Preserve for a guided night hike followed by a view through telescopes and a guided tour of our night sky.
We will be hiking to the water tower, where Paul Tomas, Founding Member of the Wenatchee Valley Astronomy Club, and other Astronomy Club members will guide us through a tour of the night sky.
The guided hike is a 2-mile round-trip on compacted soil with 300 feet of elevation gain and an average trail slope of 12%. We will be walking at a moderate pace. There are no restrooms at the trailhead, so please plan accordingly. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight for better visibility of the trail at night.

Únase a los miembros del Club de Astronomía del Valle de Wenatchee y al Chelan-Douglas Land Trust en la Reserva Jacobson para una caminata nocturna guiada, seguida de una observación a través de telescopios y un recorrido guiado por nuestro cielo nocturno.
Caminaremos hasta la torre de agua, donde Paul Tomas y otros miembros del Club de Astronomía nos guiarán en un recorrido por el cielo nocturno.
La caminata guiada es de 2 millas total sobre suelo compactado con un desnivel positivo de 300 pies y un pendiente promedio del sendero de 12%. Caminaremos a un ritmo moderado.
